Despite the early start, we had a great time at the 2020 Cadbury Marathon - filming all events and even utilizing the drone for some race starts.
Capturing the emotion at an event is always a tricky challenge. We wanted to do something a little different this year through the use of audio overlays from Meriem and Nick, helping to share some of the context to those who weren't at the event.
We coupled what was being said with some of the shots from out and about on the course, adding to the race day feeling. Background audio is also matched with the person being interviewed.
Overall we're really pleased with the outcome for #chocolaterun37 - which was had an engagement rate of over 500, has been reached by 12,000 people with 5,194 minutes watched - highlighting the value of video at events.
